So this is the part where I tell you a little about myself, huh? I've always
hated this question, "Tell me about yourself" because no matter what, it
would always pretty much end up as: "Hi, my name is Valentina....umm...
I... I like reading.... and... yeah..." That was pretty much my
standard go-to answer. Not that there is anything wrong with reading,
it's just I never had the awesome answers that other people would have,
and in the end it always made me feel bad about myself.
I've since
learned to love the person that I am, the things I've accomplished, and
the stuff I do for fun. Also, it's not about the answers you provide to
an on-the-spot question, asked every time you meet a new person, or have
an interview. It's about the answers you find as you live your life,
which is kinda something I want to get out of this blog. I want to go
over the things I enjoy and make me happy, I want to share them with the
world, so that when I look back at it I can say that I like more than
reading. (There is also the theory that I'm just another narcissistic,
attention grabbing, cult leader wannabe, but I swear I'm not. Though
"cult leader" sounds kinda cool..... OK back to reality)
So what is the reality?
I
am a twenty-something year old female, living in a small apartment with
her boyfriend of 3 years and 2-six month old kittens. That is all I
will say at this time, just because I want the rest of this blog to fill
in the other pieces. I'm going to post about the things I like at the
moment, the books I'm reading, the meals I'm preparing, and the random
little things that pass through my mind. It's going to be all about me,
me, me!!! (Narcissistic-check)
Seriously, though I'm not doing it
for anyone other than myself, I just want a place where I can post some
of my ideas and see them take shape! So, if you want, follow me and
find out how to make some Chicken Stout Stew, or how to redecorate on a
budget, or whatever other project passes through my head (Cult
Leader-wannabe-check).
Go forth and live your little hearts out!
I love the blog so far! I look forward to seeing your ideas come to life!
